First Father's Day!

Father's Day fell just three days after our anniversary, and we enjoyed a relaxing Sunday celebrating our new patriarch. We couldn't ask for a better daddy!

Brian manned the grill.

His gift was a new mug from Shutterfly with Theodore's picture, to replace a similar one he had of Kiki that was broken shortly after Theodore arrived.

Book Recommendation: The Wednesday Sisters

A recommendation.

I have had this book sitting on my end table for a while. Like a couple of years. I'm glad I waited until I was a mama before I read it because I think I found it a little more emotional and found more personal connections with it. It was a great (and quick) read about five young wives living in CA in the 60s, who were writing together.

Rolling Over

When we went to Indiana for Erin's graduation party, Theodore started rolling over. I was so in shock the first time, but I managed to get the camera in time for his third roll.

Graduation Number Two

After his first flight home, Theodore had a great time at GFS shopping for Aunt Erin's party.
He also got to meet some new friends...
Oliver
and Hogan
And he got to see a ton of family. Too many to add pictures of all of them.

4th Anniversary

Even though they dropped our plates and it took a little longer than normal, we really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Cheesecake Factory. And little Theodore slept the whole time!

First Flight

Theodore enjoyed his first flight on Southwest! The flight was fairly empty, so we had a row to ourselves. I fed him a bottle upon take off, and he slept through most of the rest of the flight.

Newark Nite 2010

We had a great time at Newark Nite again this year. Brian had lots to eat, and I enjoyed some Indonesian food for the first time!

Theodore also started to try and blow raspberries while we were out. His imitation is pretty cute.

New Toy and New Game

Yesterday, I made another little toy for Theodore! This one was so quick and easy once I had the materials. It is a "rainbow sunshine plushie" taggie. I found the tutorial here.

I still have to embroider the face on, and then it will be done. Theo already likes playing with it faceless though, and I think it is super cute! Brian has also been playing "airplane" with the little one. He enjoys it too. He requires an awful lot of play time.
